Jeff Cooper's Profile and Contact Information
Jeff was born in Little Rock, Arkansas and grew up in Glen Rose. He attended Arkansas Tech University and the University of Arkansas at Little Rock before graduating from Wichita State University with a Bachelors of Science in Aeronautical Engineering.
Jeff joined the U.S. Air Force after college and flew C-130s at Little Rock AFB. He later instructed in the T-37 in Columbus, Mississippi.
Jeff got his start in the insurance business in 2000 with Nationwide. He is licensed in Property & Casualty, Life and Health. What he likes the most about insurance is the people that you meet along the journey. Different folks are at different stages of their lives, and you get to help them protect the things (and people) that are most valuable to them.
Jeff got married in 1995 to Donna. They have two boys — Josh (23), who graduated from the University of Central Arkansas and works for Jordan Transportation and Jake (17), a senior at North Little Rock High, maintains a 4.0 GPA and plays varsity soccer. The family also has a pet — Rudy (the Westy), who is 12 years old.
Jeff's community involvement revolves around his local church (First Baptist Sherwood). He teaches 10 -12 grade boys Sunday School class, is involved with the worship choir and volunteers for such events as Trunk or Treat, Winter Wonderland, and semi-annual choir Christmas musicals.
Jeff loves the mission of both the Arkansas Food Bank and the Little Rock Compassion Center. Both show the love of Christ by feeding those who are less fortunate. Jeff doesn’t believe that people care what you believe until they first believe that you care. One of the best ways to do that is to feed and clothe people that are in need.
